Women's Ministry

"It is our desire to minister to the needs of the women in our church body, to encourage them in their Spiritual growth, and to equip them to serve others, with Jesus Christ as their supreme example."

As we read the Bible, we find that a woman of God is both a handmaiden of the Lord and a powerful influence in His loving hands. Here at our Calvary Chapel Women's Ministry we desire to foster an environment for the women of the church to experience meaningful fellowship and strong spiritual growth through ongoing Bible studies, discipleship, worship, prayer, and (of course) lots of fun!

Bible Studies:

Fridays: 9:00 AM—Women's Bible Study at the church.
The Bible study will be on hiatus beginning in June, and it will resume in mid-August.

What's Happening!

Coming up - the Women's Retreat with Calvary Chapel Sacramento! April 30 - May 2 at Camp Alta. The cost is $98, with a $35 non-refundable deposit. There is still time to sign up. The guest speaker is Trudy Ries from Calvary Chapel Pasadena who will be teaching on the theme of " A Wise Woman Builds Her House". This will be a great time to get away and spend time with the Lord.

We had a successful Petite Retreat in January, and are praying about doing another one this summer. A Petite Retreat is a great way for women to fellowship and get together for some Bible study without going away for the weekend. It's inexpensive, local and a lot of fun. More information to come!

Have you got an idea for the women's ministry? Would you like to see more fellowship activities like the Soup Nite, or an evening Coffee Run? Are you interested in getting discipled so you can grow in your walk with the Lord? Have you been praying about learning how to do a devotion at a retreat, or teach a Bible study? Come to our next women's ministry meeting! Your opinion is very important, and would love to have you come. Our next women's ministry meeting will be Sunday, May 16th after church. Bring a snack and your ideas. We will be meeting in the Koinonia Building, and look forward to seeing you there.

A special thanks to everyone who helped with the Biblical Dinner on April 11th. Everyone came with a servant's heart, and the dinner ran like clockwork! May our Lord bless you all for your service.
